PROFESSIONAL (COMPUTER) EXPERIENCE

I worked in computer software engineering and computer software engineering management from 1965 through 2001, for various companies including Lotus Development (1998-2001), Eastman Kodak (1996-1998), TASC, Dun and Bradstreet, BBDO, and a variety of small companies including three venture-funded startups. As a consequence, I have a deep understanding of what computers can do as well as how users prefer to interact with them. I frequently participated in sessions with users designed to shape future product directions. I also discussed product trends and directions with senior management. At home I run a 5-computer heterogeneous (Windows, LINUX, Mac) wired and wireless LAN connected to the Internet via broadband. More details of this career are available on request.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

I have been an active volunteer for various social issues for some time. In 2002, this pace accelerated until finally, as a consequence, I started coursework for my MS in Organizational Management and Leadership at Springfield College in Manchester. I have met many of the key players in the affordable housing, mental health and social activism communities in Southern NH.  Now I have relocated to Littleton, NH and am meeting local leaders at an accelerating pace. This is due to, in part, to my having been chosen as a member of the North Country Leadership class.
